The Guy Behind Your Brand's Growth

I'm Umar Ibn Tahir (also published on LinkedIn under the name Muhammad Umar), a social media and digital marketing specialist based in Pakistan, working with brands across the US. My work sits at the intersection of content strategy, paid social, and community management, the parts of a brand's online presence that decide whether people stick around or scroll past.

Over the past six years I've managed social accounts and communities for agencies and consumer brands including Teez Agency and Cooking Panda, run paid Meta campaigns that landed engagement well above benchmark, and grown online communities past 100,000 followers across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Outside client work, I co-founded Dou Qadam, a tourism startup in Faisalabad, and spent several years in leadership roles with Rotaract and Rotary International, which is honestly where a lot of my instincts for community building came from in the first place.

I'm certified in Google's Digital Marketing and Ecommerce program and hold a degree in Environmental Science, an unusual starting point for a marketing career, but it's part of why I lean on data as much as creative instinct.
